Hoopa, California (Humboldt County)

The Hoopa Tribal Civilian Community Corps is a Tribal AmeriCorps Residential Program. This 10-month residential program teaches members life skills, work skills and they obtain trainings in order to better themselves. AmeriCorps*TCCC  is a network of national service programs that engage more than 50,000 Americans each year in intensive service to meet critical needs in education, public safety, health, and the environment. Across the nation, AmeriCorps members serve through more than 2,100 nonprofits, public agencies, and faith-based organizations. TCCC members perform a variety of challenging tasks from mentoring youth, building/renovating affordable housing,  cleaning parks, forestlands and streams, and helping communities respond to disasters.
